Just a note about the postmark. "FIUMICINO" is the municipality in which lies the international Rome's airport; "CMP" means "Centro Meccanizzato Postale". It is a the biggest post office in Italy. All correspondence left in the mailboxes in the provinces of Rome, Viterbo, Latina, Frosinone and Terni receive this kind of postmark on the stamp. If the stamp is re-used (washed/cleaned old stamp) the postal marking machine understands and destroys automatically the letter/postcard. Best wishes from... the sender :)
