A note about the first view. In the left there is a she-wolf with the twins Romulus and Remus on a column. Such a monument (the symbol of Rome) was added in the square during the Fascist Age (1922-1943), when Benito Mussolini had the illusion to make again the Roman Empire. Such statues, particularly in the 1930s, were made in series and even given as a present abroad. One of them is still present in the town of Cluj (Romania) and even in fron of the town hall of Rome (Georgia, USA). For details, see http://romegeorgia.com/capwolf.html
